INTERACTIVE OFFICE 1.3
Greetings from the Wrong Side of History!

I write games for modern platforms like the Pico-8, and for classic 8-bit machines like the Vic-20 and ZX Spectrum.
Trundle your tank mouse over the links in the windows below to sample my warez! Neither is an Interactive Office software product. These will be on the shelves of your local WHSmith in time for Christmas.
I programmed the Mario/Pac-Man mash-up to promote the Essex Business Machines System/800.
While the S/800 itself is a big grown-up EBM product, its text editor and spreadsheet started out life (in an alternate reality, at least) as Interactive Office business software packages – distributed, of course, on 5.25" floppies.
If the images take an age to download – just be glad your parents let you use the phoneline.
A distraction-free text editor and spreadsheet, built into a virtual 8-bit business computer. It runs on modern machines, but has the look and feel of the business machines of the late '70s and early '80s. Pico-8 mode fitted as standard!

Nintendo's celebrated plumber wandered into a Namco arcade cabinet. A Mario-themed Pac-Man demake for the Pico-8, written on the EBM System/800.
Play it in your browser on itch.io, or find it on Splore inside Pico-8.
